Minister for Housing Jogi Ramesh assured the flood victims of all needed help.
The minister, along with Transport minister P Viswaroop and local MLA Kodeti Chittibabu, visited some of the flood affected areas at Ainavillilanka and Veeravelli Palm villages. The ministers saw the inundated roods and localities.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Jogi Ramesh said that the official machinery was directed to provide food, drinking water and other facilities to the flood victims. He appealed to the people living low-lying areas to shift to the relief camps.
The villagers informed the minister of the road connectivity to their village as flood water overflowed on the road. The minister directed the officials to divert the flood water and restore the road on war footing.
