Minister briefed about scope for drone hub in AP

The representatives of drone companies met Minister for R and B BC Janardhan Reddy and explained to him the drone technology, in the secretariat on Wednesday.
Manoj, Managing Director of Hyderabad-based WINGS & PROPS Company and Praveen Kumar, CEO of SiDAK Company explained to Minister Janardhan Reddy how drone technology can make work easier. According to the idea of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on drone technology, he explained how drone technology can be useful for various departments of the government sector.
He explained to the minister that with this drone technology, various tasks like agriculture, roads and buildings, irrigation, urban area development, defence, risk management, mining, surveys and mapping, seed ball plantation can be facilitated and better results can be achieved.
He apprised the minister in which fields they have used their technology and achieved good results. The minister was explained the possibilities of setting up a drone hub in AP in the near future and how this would benefit the state.
The minister assured the drone company representatives to discuss the matter with the Chief Minister.
