Minister of Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh assumed office on Monday and participated in the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Following the meeting, representatives of student, youth, and teacher unions from across the state convened with Lokesh in his office. They presented bouquets and shawls to congratulate the newly appointed minister and discussed various issues affecting students and teachers.
During the interaction, Minister Lokesh expressed concern over the decline in educational standards over the past five years due to the policies of the previous government. He urged teachers to collaborate closely to revitalise the education sector. Lokesh assured that there would be no unnecessary workload or harassment for teachers going forward. He promised swift resolution of the challenges highlighted by the unions.
“I am committed to restoring the quality of education in our state,” Minister Lokesh affirmed.
