Minister for Civil Supplies Nadendla Manohar inspected the paddy purchase process and interacted with farmers on Monday.
Accompanied by MLAs Chirri Balaraju and P. Dharma Raju, Minister Manohar visited the agriculture fields at Pattiseema village in Polavaram mandal, where he observed the paddy produce. He also spoke to the farmers and listened to their concerns.
The Minister instructed officials to take immediate steps to resolve the issues faced by farmers in selling their paddy. He assured the farmers that measures had been taken to ensure smooth procurement of their produce without any obstacles. “The money is being credited to the farmers’ accounts within 24 hours of purchasing the paddy,” Minister Manohar informed them.
