Minister for BC Welfare, EWS Welfare, Handloom & Textiles, S Savitha, has stated that the State government has established the Civil Services Study Circle for BC candidates, offering facilities comparable to corporate study circles. She encouraged aspiring civil servants to take full advantage of this initiative to achieve their career goals. The temporary Study Circle will be continued at the BC Bhavan and later, a permanent building will be constructed at Amaravati with the encouragement of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, she added.
On Wednesday, Minister Savitha inaugurated the BC Civil Services Study Circle at Gollapudi in Vijayawada Rural mandal. Firstly, he paid rich tributes to Mahatma Jyothiba Pule. She inaugurated digital classrooms, a digital library and group discussion rooms in the study circle.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Savitha emphasised that the study circle aims to provide equal opportunities and resources to BC candidates, enabling them to compete effectively in Civil Services examinations. For the Civil Services coaching, as many as 100 candidates were shortlisted out of 600 candidates who attended the eligibility test, she said. The State government is spending Rs.2 lakh per one candidate. So, they should prepare well and get good results, and bring a good name to the State, he added.
Further, she said soon after forming the government, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu put his first signature on the Mega DSC order.
Also, free DSC coaching centres have been started in all 26 districts, she said. She announced that the government will start an online DSC coaching facility soon.
