Minister seeks flight services between Kurnool and Vijayawada

State Industries, Commerce and Food Processing Minister TG Bharat has urged the Minister for Civil Aviation, K Rammohan Naidu, to initiate flight services between Kurnool and Vijayawada. Bharat met with the Union Minister in Delhi to discuss the potential launch of the flight route, emphasising its importance for the region.
In a release on Wednesday, TG Bharat mentioned that the Central minister is already in discussions with the relevant authorities regarding the matter. He expressed hope that steps would soon be taken to implement the flight services. Bharat further highlighted that the Union Minister is putting significant effort into making the flight services between Kurnool and Vijayawada a reality.
Besides, Minister Bharat pointed out that the State government is working on establishing industrial units at the Orvakal Industrial Hub, stressing the favourable conditions for setting up various industries in the region. The availability of flight services, according to Bharat, would further facilitate the movement of industrialists and entrepreneurs, contributing to the growth of the industrial sector in the area.
The introduction of flight services would not only enhance connectivity but also support the region’s economic development by attracting more businesses and investments.
