Minister Sridhar Babu invites the delegation to Bio Asia 2025 Rhineland keen on investing in TG

Drawing attention to the German state of Rhineland, which has expressed keen interest in investing and establishing business partnerships in Telangana, IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu participated in a high-level delegation meeting from Rhineland, led by Daniela Schmitt, Minister for Economic Affairs, Transport, Agriculture and Viti culture, at the Secretariat on Thursday.
Sridhar Babu highlighted Telangana’s business-friendly environment and leadership in providing fast-track approvals, making it a preferred investment destination. He emphasised the State’s commitment to creating world-class ecosystems for innovation, advanced manufacturing, and research and said that Telangana is actively building frameworks to support global investments.
The Minister also explained to the delegation that there are significant similarities between the two regions and that working together could achieve mutual economic growth. He also underlined Telangana’s growing reputation as a global hub for life sciences and pharmaceutical investments.
The Minister invited the Rhineland delegation to participate in Bio Asia 2025. In return, the delegation extended an invitation to Sridhar Babu to visit Rhineland. Both sides agreed to establish a “Sister State” partnership between Telangana and Rhineland.
The meeting was attended by Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Managing Director of Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation and Shakti Nagappan, CEO of the Telangana Life Sciences sector, Michaela Küchler from Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chennai, Amita Desai, Honorary Consul of Germany in Hyderabad.
