Minister will sift negative reports

Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, despite receiving a flood of negative reports concerning officials in his department, seems to have unwittingly heightened the anxiety of the officials in the dock by not questioning them about the negative aspects of the reports coming out almost every day. Even in the course of three-hour-long meetings with these edgy bureaucrats, he refrains from mentioning anything about the negative publicity his department has been receiving. A little bird told us that the Minister is of the opinion that there is a need to question the motives of both parties. After all, IT and Industries was seen as glamorous department in the BRS regime. The grapevine has it that under Sridhar Babu it is becoming “more and more realistic”.
