In a heart-wrenching incident, a 15-year-old girl, who was gang-raped in Peddapalli, died on Thursday. She was reportedly raped by four persons on August 14. The incident came to light on Thursday after the girl died of injuries suffered. The family of the girl migrated to Peddapalli from Kajiri in Madhya Pradesh, to work in a brick kiln unit.
According to police, four persons had gang-raped the girl on the outskirt os Appannapet under Peddpallil mandal. The assailants tried to shift her to a hospital in a private hospital as she suffered life-threatening injuries. But, she died, the police said.
The police registered a case and an investigation is on.
