MLA promises to address FP dealers’ problems

Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy has assured the fair price dealers by taking their problems to the notice of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
He was participating as the chief guest at the Fair Price Dealers’ Association meeting held at GMR Convention centre in Patancheru of the district on Tuesday.
He  was elected honourary president of the dealers association, which has a long history. The role of dealers should be appreciated as they supplied essential goods to people during natural calamities and during the pandemic situation. The dealers have been facing several problems for over a decade.
He said he would meet the CM along with presidents of all district FP dealers’ associations seeking a honorarium of Rs 5,000 per month and seeking payment of Rs 300 as commission per quintal. He suggested taking out a huge victory rally with two lakh persons after fulfilling the promises made to FP dealers.
The FP dealers demanded Rs 10 lakh insurance cover, electronic way bridges at MLS points, allotment of FP shops to the family members among other things. National president of dealers associations Krishna Murthy, general secretary Viswambhar and 10,000 FP dealers attended the meeting.
