Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar reaffirmed his commitment to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, pledging to follow his leadership fearlessly despite any challenge. The statement came during the birthday celebrations of CM Revanth Reddy, held at the Shadnagar Government Camp Office on Friday.
The event was marked by various activities, starting with the ceremonial cutting of a cake. Congress town president K Chennayya, along with party leaders, visited the government community hospital to distribute fruits and bread to the patients, spreading goodwill on the occasion.
Additionally, a special abhisheka pooja was conducted at Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Janampet by supporters of Revanth Reddy to seek blessings for the CM.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Shankar praised Revanth Reddy as a visionary leader who has been steering the state toward development through bold and decisive actions. He highlighted the CM’s contributions to improving infrastructure, especially in education and healthcare sectors, as pivotal to the progress seen in recent times.
Shankar took a swipe at detractors, remarking that those who are envious of the Congress party’s growth are making baseless criticisms, likening them to “crows howling.”
To commemorate the occasion, key chains were distributed to party activists, symbolising their dedication and unity under the leadership of Revanth Reddy.
