MLA vows to develop Shadnagar constituency

Shadnagar MLA and Chairman of the Public Sector Enterprises Committee Veerlapalli Shankar participated in multiple foundation stone laying ceremonies for various development initiatives across several village panchayats in Keshampet mandal on Thursday. He vowed to ensure development of the constituency.
These projects, which are set to enhance local infrastructure and community facilities, have been funded through various government schemes.
In Bhairkhanpally village, Shankar laid the foundation for the construction of an Anganwadi building and a Mahila Sangam building, both of which will be developed with MGNREGS funds amounting to Rs 12 lakh.
In Kothapeta village, the MLA inaugurated the Bhoomi Puja ceremony for additional classrooms to be built with SSA funds totaling  Rs 39 lakh. Additionally, the renovation of the Ambedkar Yuvajana and Adarsh Yuvajana buildings was commenced. The newly installed IMAX lights in the village panchayat were also unveiled during the program, and study materials were distributed to students.
Shankar also attended the ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of BR Ambedkar Yuvajana Bhavan in Nirdhavelli village, which will be built with SDF funds of Rs 10 lakh. The construction of the Mudiraj Sangha Bhavan, also to be funded by SDF at Rs 10 lakh, was inaugurated alongside the ground-breaking of the BT road from Nirdhavelli to Kakunur.
In Sundarapur village, the MLA laid the foundation stone for a new Gram Panchayat building, which will be constructed with MGNREGS funds of Rs 20 lakh. The programmes were attended by several prominent leaders, including Mandal Congress Party President Guda Veeresham, Block Congress President Jagadishwar, Market Committee Director Bhaskar Goud, and various activists and community leaders from different villages in the region.
