MLC Raghu Raju defected from YSRCP to TDP, prompting YSRCP to file a complaint with the Legislative Council.
Council Chairman Moshen Raju had issued notices for Raghu Raju to attend a hearing on May 27. However, Raghu Raju did not attend the hearing on that date, failing to inform the council. Consequently, the chairman adjourned the hearing to May 31 (today).
On Friday, Raghu Raju was admitted to Narayana Hospital in Visakhapatnam, thus skipping the hearing again. His followers claim he was hospitalised due to a kidney problem. As a result, Chairman Moshen Raju had to postpone the hearing once more.

The date for the next hearing has not yet been clarified.
