Preparing for the BRS’s Rajatotsavam (Silver Jubilee) Mahasabha, party chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) convened a preparatory meeting with BRS’s prominent leaders from the erstwhile Medak and Nizamabad districts at his Erravelli residence on Wednesday.
KCR reportedly asked them not to fail in mobilising people. He also said that as the BRS is not in power, there won’t be police cooperation. He called upon the leaders to bring people hours before the meeting as they might get stranded on roads.
The meeting was attended by BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, Medak district MLA T. Harish Rao, MLC Deshapathi Srinivas, Siddipet district BRs president and MLA K. Prabhakar Reddy, Sangareddy district party president Chinta Prabhakar, Manik Rao, Medak district party president Padma Devender Reddy, MLC Dr Yadav Reddy, Sunitha Lakshma Reddy, former MLC Sheri Subhash Reddy, former MLAs Kranti Kiran and Bhupal Reddy, and senior leaders Jaipal Reddy and Adarsh Reddy.
From the erstwhile Nizamabad district, MLA Vemula Prashanth Reddy, former MLAs Bajireddy Govardhan, Ganesh Bigala Gupta, Gampa Govardhan, Jajula Surender, Hanumanth Shinde and others attended.
