Senior actor Mohan Babu has released a new audio message, this time addressing the recent incident in which a media person was injured. He posed a poignant question: Can anyone justify intruding into another person’s family issues? Mohan Babu urged politicians and the public to ponder this question after witnessing the disturbing visuals.
“My son, Manoj, entered the house at around 8 pm; whether his entry was right or wrong, it’s my family matter. How can the media forcefully enter my house? From the last few days onwards, they stayed in front of my house. Is this action justified?” asked Mohan Babu in his audio.
The senior actor questioned the way people entered his house without his permission. “When they come, are they the media? Are they coming to attack me for some personal vendetta? But I don’t know and I did not want to hurt anyone intentionally. Everyone has to do their job; we are all labour,” said Mohan Babu.
The actor said that many are accusing him and criticising him for attacking a media person but emphasised that the situation was not as simple as it seemed. “You are not seeing the way he put his mike on my face. I almost lost my eye,” he said.
He added that he came out with folded hands and suddenly someone put a microphone in front of his face. “In that darkness, I took that microphone and in that heat of the moment, he was injured. I genuinely feel sad that he got hurt and his wife and family also feel bad about it. But what about me? I felt very bad in the hospital,” said Mohan Babu.
The actor said that if he had come out and beaten anyone, they could have filed a number of cases. “If I really did, I myself would go and surrender to the police station, but it didn’t happen like that,” said the actor. “I was already going through a lot of things because of my son Manoj, but we will sit and sort out our family matters. However, at that time, these people forcefully entered and broke my peacefulness, which is not right,” said Mohan Babu. He added that he doesn’t want outside people to interfere in his family matters. “We will discuss and sort out our own,” he said. The senior actor requested everyone to think about the issue of his altercation with a media person.
“Consider the circumstances under which I reacted. You all think about it. I felt very bad that the person got hurt,” he said.
