The new generation of women entrepreneurs have several empowering drivers that make them thrive and break barriers. They are more conscious about the impacts their organisations can create in a community and are powered by ever-evolving technology. I believe that young women are aware of gender disparities and are driven by a vision that upholds inclusion and addresses bias that often goes unnoticed. They also have access to better funding opportunities and supportive networks than women in my time had. Moreover, today’s women are an embodiment of leadership and empowerment. They inspire and encourage each other. The healthcare and medical sector looks promising for women as a career. More women are taking up leadership roles, and many are enthusiastically choosing a career in science and research. Opportunities are increasing, and specialisations are expanding. Women will have better platforms to excel in their desired specialisations and choose disruptive career paths. However, I believe that the biases and gender pay gap are the issues that we need to address immediately. I hope for a brighter tomorrow for the healthcare and medical sector, where everyone receives equal opportunities.
