In a tragic incident that took place in Rajolu village on Friday, a 15-year-old boy lost his life in a horrifying act of arson. Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao, the Rajya Sabha MP of YSRCP and in-charge of Repalle constituency, expressed his condolences to the grieving family and assured them that the government is fully committed to addressing the crime and ensuring that the culprits face severe consequences.
MP Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao extended his support to the family and pledged assistance on behalf of the YSRCP. As a token of solidarity, he provided an ex gratia payment of Rs 1 lakh to help the family cope with their loss.
Recognising the need for ongoing support, MP Rao promised to secure a government job for one of the family members. He personally consoled the bereaved family and empathetically listened to their pain, aiming to convey that they are not alone in their pursuit of justice.
MP Mopidevi Venkata Ramana Rao said that swift action will be taken against the accused, and he assured the family that he will bring the matter to the attention of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He stated, “I will personally discuss this incident with CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and strive to provide additional financial assistance from the government.
Our government will not tolerate such a heinous crime, and the perpetrators will face severe punishment. The police are actively investigating the case.”He added, “An FIR has already been registered, and three out of the four accused have been apprehended. The investigation is progressing rapidly.
Our government is fully committed to seeking justice for the victim, and the culprits will be held accountable for their actions.” It has been reported that the accused individuals have been taken to court to determine the next steps in the legal process.
Superintendent of Police, Bapatla, Vakul Jindal, shared further details during a press conference, stating that the police are thoroughly investigating the case from all angles and taking note of all allegations against the accused.
He assured that justice will be served soon. Based on preliminary investigation, the police have determined that this incident stemmed from a personal dispute between two families and is unrelated to any political party.
Therefore, any political motive has been ruled out.YSR Congress Party expressed their profound sympathy and offered prayers to the grieving family through their social media channels.
