Mrunal Thakur says its her ‘dream’ to become a ‘mother’

Must read

Mrunal Thakur is one actress who has successfully carved a niche for herself in both South Indian cinema and Bollywood. She plays the female lead in Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film Son of Sardaar 2, a sequel to the earlier hit Son of Sardaar. Although the film was initially scheduled for release this Friday, it has now been postponed to August 1.
The decision to delay the release was reportedly influenced by the phenomenal success of the romantic drama Saiyaara, which has taken the box office by storm. Not wanting to clash with the young blockbuster, Ajay Devgn and the team made the strategic call to push back their release.

Before the postponement, the cast had already kickstarted promotions and appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show. During the episode, when host Kapil Sharma asked Mrunal about her views on marriage, she responded with candor and warmth. Mrunal revealed that she’s always dreamt of getting married and becoming a mother, saying that having children has been a lifelong desire. However, she added that while marriage is definitely on the cards, it isn’t on the immediate horizon as she is currently focused on her career.
Mrunal is also playing the female lead opposite Adivi Sesh in the Telugu action drama Dacoit, which is currently in production. When asked about juggling between Telugu and Hindi films, she shared a light-hearted anecdote: while shooting in Telugu, she would sometimes accidentally say Anna even on her Hindi sets—and vice versa. “People would just go blank,” she laughed “and I’d quickly switch to ‘Dada’!”
