Music director S Thaman is all set to play the lead actor in a Tamil film, according to a source. The actor is going to share screen space with another actor Aharva in this Tamil film. Interestingly, Thaman made his debut as an actor in ‘Boys’ directed by none other than Shankar Shanumugham. After that, he appeared as a cameo in a couple of films, but he never was a lead actor.
Now, the source reveals that a Tamil director is all set to rope in Thaman as the lead actor in his film. Though Thaman is one of the top music directors in Down South, he is busy with multiple projects both Telugu and Tamil as music director. But in the meantime, he wanted to pursue his acting too, thus he accepted this role. “It’s an interesting story and Thaman’s role is very important in it, that’s why he agreed to do it,” said a source.
Thaman’s recent film ‘Daaku Maharaaj’ is a successful one and he is also nicknamed as Nandamuri Thaman. He is also working for a musical night for NTR Trust to raise funds for medical camps. He also met AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu recently.
