Youth done to death brutally for sexual harassment

A 24-year-old man was brutally done to death in broad daylight and in full public view on Tuesday for allegedly harassing a married woman at Indaram village under Jaipur mandal in the district. The incident created panic among the people. 

The deceased was identified as Muske Mahesh. Four persons chased him and murdered him by hitting him on the head with a boulder, according to police. 

Tension was brewing between Mahesh and the family members of a married woman, whose husband died by suicide, for some time. The police said that Mahesh allegedly had an affair with the woman, identified as Peddapalli Shruti. But the parents of the woman married her off to someone else. 

It led to a conflict between Mahesh and the family members of the woman. After the marriage, Mahesh allegedly uploaded intimate pictures and videos on social networking sites. It allegedly led to the woman’s husband committing suicide and her mother-in-law, too, died later. 

Later, the woman returned to her parents’ house and was staying with them. But, Mahesh continued to send obscene text messages. The family members of the woman reportedly warned him several times, but he did not mend his ways, the police said. 

On Tuesday, Mahesh, while moving past the woman’s house on a motorcycle, honked the horn times and again. It incensed the woman’s parents and her relatives. They allegedly caught and attacked him. Mahesh died on the sport.
