She’s made the world laugh one “mini” story at a time—and now, she’s coming home for the grand finale. After an extraordinary global journey spanning ten countries, over 45 cities, and a record-breaking 28 sold-out shows across the U.S., comedy’s most beloved storyteller Shraddha Jain—aka Aiyyo Shraddha—is set to bring her smash-hit solo special So Mini Things back to India for its final curtain call. And what better place to say goodbye than Hyderabad, where she’ll take the stage on July 27 at Shilpakala Vedika. Produced by Livetree Entertainment, this final India tour has already opened to roaring crowds in Pune and Delhi, promising a send-off as warm and hilarious as the journey has been.
The fact that Aiyyo Shraddha had a huge internet following, right from the mid to elderly age groups, says Sharath Vatsa – CEO & Founder, Livetree Entertainment, who otherwise may not be the usual stand-up comedy show audience triggered to me that this will bring in a new set of audience and will certainly be a hit… Expectedly, the same happened, 60-70% of their audience across the globe were first time attendees of any stand-up comedy act.
A former engineer and RJ who became a household name through her clean, heartfelt humour, Shraddha has transformed simple family anecdotes into universal truths—earning not just laughs but love across generations. And with a recent nod from Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the ‘Most Creative Creator – Female’ at the 2024 National Creators Awards, her storytelling legacy is only just beginning. In an exclusive chat with The Pioneer, Shraddha Jain reflected on the incredible journey of So Mini Things—from its humble beginnings to its global success—and the emotions tied to bringing it back home. With Hyderabad as one of her most cherished stages, she’s all set to deliver a heartfelt final performance brimming with warmth, nostalgia, and laughter.
Highlighted Quote: Hyderabad is such a special venue for me, I go back and look at the footage we have of the audience interacting with me post show, the last time I performed in the city, it’s unbelievable! So generous this audience is! I was so nervous performing in Hyderabad and the audience treated me like a star! So much love and warmth!

Excerpts from the interview
After touring across continents with So Mini Things, how does it feel to bring the show back home for its final bow?
I’m a lot more confident this time around. The material itself has undergone some change and I’m so excited to bring an improved version of me to the last lap of this marathon tour!
You’ve performed in over 45 cities worldwide… what has surprised you most about how international audiences respond to your deeply Indian stories?
The stories are very personal and yet they resonate… across countries, age groups! I hear 8-year-olds giggle alongside their parents and grandparents and I find myself pleasantly surprised! ‘All of them got it?’
The show has often been described as a mosaic of mini stories from Indian family life. What inspired the format and tone of So Mini Things?
To a great extent the success of my content on social media gave me some confidence about the tone and the format… well, that I went in blind, I decided ‘ I’m going to say this as honestly as I can and we’ll see how that goes.’ And it looks like it was the right way to do it!
You’ve had everyone from kids to grandparents laughing in your audience…what do you think makes So Mini Things such a cross-generational hit?
I think storytelling has that magic! If you are a good storyteller, your listeners will gladly come with you into your world with almost childlike curiosity and wonder!

Hyderabad is next on your India tour… what are you most looking forward to performing here, especially with this being one of your final shows of So Mini Things?
I feel the excitement you have when you are going to meet the most fun friend you have, the one who is most invested in your success, the one who’ll be the last one to leave the dance floor at your party!
Your comedy is rooted in family, nostalgia, and everyday chaos… do you find the Hyderabad audience connects to it in any unique way?
Hyderabad audience is multilingual, so the language mix is English-Hindi and it comes very naturally to me. The comfort level and rhythm are very different.
You’ve performed globally, but are there any moments from previous Hyderabad shows or visits that stand out in your memory?
Hyderabad is such a special venue for me, I go back and look at the footage we have of the audience interacting with me post show, the last time I performed in the city, it’s unbelievable! So generous this audience is! I was so nervous performing in Hyderabad and the audience treated me like a star! So much love and warmth! It was like I was their girl! I received a handmade fridge magnet from an audience member that had the show logo embossed on it! So many put money in my hands as they hugged me and told me I should travel the world with this show. I couldn’t believe the response! I could hardly sleep that night!
As someone who relies on clean, observational humour, how do you gauge what will land best in a city known for its sharp wit and sense of humour?
I can’t really. I don’t know what will land. But I have always had a little something special for every city I have performed in. It’s usually the first few minutes of the show and I am so thrilled when those bits land!
This being the last chance for Hyderabadis to catch So Mini Things, what kind of energy or response are you hoping to feel from the crowd at Shilpakala Vedika?
The kind of energy that will drive me to write the next show! The vibe that will stay forever with me. To me, Hyderabad is that beautiful fragrance you will always identify… cos it’s unmistakably Hyderabad!
