Suspended BJP MLA from Goshamahal Assembly constituency T Raja Singh on Sunday stated that some leaders from his own party and other parties were trying to block his entry into the next Assembly.

“I have a strong belief that I will not come to the Assembly again because both insiders and outsiders don’t want to see me here again.

Whether I am there or not, I appeal to the Chief Minister that he has to show his kindness to the people of my constituency, particularly the Dhoolpet people.

CM KCR assured that he would come to the Dhoolpet area but he doesn’t have time to visit my constituency which is 2-3 kilometres from here,” Raja Singh said

While speaking in the Assembly on the last day of the monsoon session but also the last session of the current Assembly, Raja Singh with folded hands and in an emotional speech said, “I don’t know who will win in my place. I have a strong belief that I will not come to the Assembly again.

The politics are going around me to see that I am not to step into the next Assembly. Not only outside parties’ but also my own party leaders (Gharwale aur Baharwale) are trying to see me not step into the next Assembly.

My appeal to the Chief Minister is to show his kindness to the people of my constituency, particularly the Dhoolpet people. Dhoolpet people are left doing Gudumba danda (country-made liquor business). Dhoolpet people are suffering as they do not have employment now.

CM KCR assured that he will tour the Dhoolpet area and provide employment to the people of Dhoolpet area but did not fulfil his assurance”.

It may be recalled that the BJP suspended Raja Singh for posting a video against a section of the community as a disciplinary action.

Later, the police filed a Preventive Detention Act against Raja Singh and sent him to jail. However, the High Court released him. However, the BJP has not yet lifted the suspension against Raja Singh.

Meanwhile, Raja Singh met Finance Minister T Harish Rao creating rumours that Raja Singh may join the BRS party. However, Raja Singh dismissed the rumours and made it clear that he would die as a BJP activist.
