Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated film Pushpa 2 is set to hit the screens on December 5, with many premiere shows scheduled for December 4 at increased ticket prices. However, a notable absence has caught fans’ attention — members of the Mega family have not posted anything on social media about the film.
Adding fuel to speculation, Nagababu, Chiranjeevi’s brother, shared a quote by Swami Vivekananda that seemed to take a dig at Allu Arjun. The quote read: “If you realise you have taken the wrong path, correct your course immediately. The longer you wait, the harder it becomes to return to where you truly belong” (sic).
The context behind this strained dynamic dates back to the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections when Allu Arjun visited his friend and YSRCP candidate Shilpa Ravi Chandra Reddy’s house in Nandyal. Reportedly, this visit occurred despite Chiranjeevi advising him against it. At the same time, Ram Charan was in Pithapuram to support his uncle Pawan Kalyan’s Assembly constituency campaign. Since then, reports suggest a growing distance between Allu Arjun and the rest of Chiranjeevi’s family.
This rift became a hot topic not only within the film industry but also among fans.
Adding to the tension, Allu Arjun defended his visit to Nandyal during a public event, emphasising that he would always stand by his friends, even as chief guest at another movie’s event. His steadfast stance reportedly further irked Chiranjeevi and his family. As the release of Pushpa 2 approaches, fans are left wondering if this family discord will overshadow the celebrations.
