Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday came down heavily on TDP chief and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of being responsible for a total breakdown of law and order in the state.

In a strongly worded post on X, Jagan said he was “deeply shocked and pained” by what he described as the complete collapse of governance under Naidu’s leadership. “The systems in our state have been rendered ineffective due to political vendettas and criminal actions by Chandrababu Naidu and his party leaders. The arrogance and rowdyism of the ruling party have created an atmosphere of fear, leaving no safety or security for our people,” he alleged.

He cited several incidents to back his claims, including one in Srikalahasti, Tirupati district, where a constable was reportedly assaulted by the driver of an MLA’s wife after being issued a challan for drunk driving.
