On the second day of his visit to Davos for the World Economic Forum summit, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been actively engaging with Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of various globally renowned companies to encourage them to set up their units in Andhra Pradesh.
During a meeting with Shin Hak Cheol, CEO of LG Chem Ltd, Chandrababu explored further investment opportunities in the state across various sectors. In a message posted on ‘X’, the Chief Minister highlighted that the meeting aimed to attract more investments from the company to Andhra Pradesh.
The Chief Minister also held a meeting with Vincent Clerc, CEO of Maersk, one of the world’s largest integrated logistics companies. During their discussions, Chandrababu Naidu outlined in detail the investment opportunities available in the state. Clerc expressed enthusiasm about exploring Andhra Pradesh’s maritime potential and indicated his readiness to study the possibilities before deciding on investing in the state.
Earlier, Chandrababu Naidu met with Lakshmi N. Mittal, Executive Chairman of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AMNS India), and CEO Aditya Mittal. The company has made a landmark investment of Rs 1.4 lakh crore for a 17.8 million-ton integrated steel project in Anakapalle. This initiative is one of the largest greenfield projects in recent times.
The Chief Minister, along with the Minister for IT and Electronics and other officials, held detailed discussions on advancing this significant project.
