In a scathing attack, YSRCP’s general secretary and Government Advisor (Public Affairs), Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has levelled serious allegations against TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, asserting that Naidu has been afflicted with a schizophrenic mindset.
He claimed that Naidu’s actions have fuelled recent bouts of violence across the State, orchestrated by groups of anarchists operating under his influence.
Addressing media persons on Monday, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy called Naidu a victim of ‘megalomaniac schizophrenia’, a disorder characterised by an inflated sense of power and self-importance. Drawing a pointed parallel between Naidu’s actions and the traits of schizophrenia, Reddy highlighted instances where Naidu has reached out to the President of India and Prime Minister with criticisms against the state government, coupled with fervent demands for CBI investigations into local matters such as the Punganur and Angallu incidents.
“Chandrababu Naidu is unparalleled in his mastery of false propagation,” asserted
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, emphasising the hypocrisy of the opposition’s sudden clamor for CBI intervention, despite their previous opposition to it during their own tenure. He admonished the opposition for what he deemed a calculated effort to besmirch the YSRCP government, alleging that they were acting as if laws and constitution were selectively applicable.
In a pointed query, Reddy questioned the authenticity of the reported attacks on police personnel in Punganur and Angallu, suggesting that Naidu’s involvement warranted further scrutiny. He extolled the achievements of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s administration, highlighting the government’s efforts to bring prosperity through comprehensive welfare schemes.
Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy did not shy away from criticising JSP Chief Pawan Kalyan either, accusing him of employing theatrical dialogues and provocation during his visit to Rishikonda, which reportedly incited fervent reactions from his supporters.
Reddy lamented the loss of lives in Angallu, Punganur, and Kandukur, attributing the deaths to what he branded as Naidu’s publicity-driven agenda. He further alleged that Naidu’s recent claims of an assassination attempt against him in Punganur were part of an elaborate theatrical ruse.
