Former minister and YSRCP MLA Vellampalli Srinivas Rao has alleged that Telugu Desam chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is doing opportunist politics with BJP and Congress to come back in power, but AP people will never give that chance to Naidu.
He further alleged that Chandrababu further tried to restore ties with BJP with the help of Daggubati Purandeswari under whom he is playing a lot of dramas in Delhi.
MLA Srinivas added that Chandrababu was chasing after Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah for restoration of ties with BJP. He recalled that when Prime Minister Modi came to AP, black balloons were flown. TD leaders attacked Amit Shah with stones and sandals and now they are trying to get close to BJP again through AP BJP chief Purandeswari. He commented that Chandrababu was the only one who can do such lousy politics.
He claimed that Chandrababu did not have the courage to contest alone. He pointed out that Chandrababu was able to win in the past only with BJP’s support and besides, no one will vote for Naidu.
MLA Srinivas said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was talking about alliance with the people but Chandrababu was roaming around Delhi doing opportunistic politics shunning people’s welfare. He recalled that Naidu voluntarily refused Special Category Status in lieu of Special Status which was the right of AP according to the AP Reorganisation Act. MLA Srinivas added that Andhra people would not trust Naidu and reject Chandrababu in the 2024 elections
