Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, during his tour of Mumbai, met with Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at Shinde’s official residence on Sunday. The two leaders discussed various issues related to political developments and mutual interests.
The Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office confirmed via their Twitter handle ‘X’ that the discussions were focused on enhancing cooperation between Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra to ensure mutual progress. Accompanying Naidu was Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu, while Shinde was joined by his son Dr. Shrikant Shinde, who serves as the Shiv Sena parliamentary party leader.
On the previous day, Ram Mohan Naidu, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol, and Shrikant Shinde inspected the ongoing works at Navi Mumbai International Airport. This visit underscored their commitment to improving infrastructure and connectivity in the region.
The discussions centred on strategies to foster development through increased collaboration between the two states. Both leaders expressed their commitment to leveraging their states’ strengths to drive economic growth and development.
The talks followed a visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Mumbai, highlighting the region’s importance in the national development agenda.
