Naidu to organise ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ for third time

Must read

Nara Chandrababu Naidu, who is taking the oath of office on Wednesday, has the rare opportunity to organise the sacred ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ for the third time as Chief Minister.
Naidu first organised the ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ as Chief Minister of the combined Andhra Pradesh state in 2003. His government also oversaw the event in 2014.
Now, the ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ will be held in 2027, and the Naidu-led government will again be responsible for organising the event.
Previously, the ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ was organised by the government led by Marri Chenna Reddy in 1979 and by the government led by Nedurumilli Janardhan Reddy in 1991. Chandrababu Naidu stands out as the only Chief Minister to have the opportunity to organise the ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ three times.
