Plot: Narayana (played by Devi Prasad) and Janaki (played by Amani) are a couple from a middle-class family. Narayana works as a cashier at a bank. The eldest son, Anand (played by Sudhakar Komakula), is a cab driver. He bets on cricket. This will put in Rs.10 lakh debt.

The younger son, Subhash (played by Jai Krishna), is a cameraman. He goes to the house of a dead man to take pictures and meets a girl. When they get intimate, an unknown person captures it and threatens to make the video go viral if he does not give Rs 10 lakh.

On the other hand, there was a theft of Rs. 25 lakh in the bank where Narayana works, and Narayana was blamed for it. The manager threatens to file a police case if the Rs 25 lakh is not returned. With this, the whole Narayana family thinks of kidnapping someone for money. Narayana, along with his niece Nalini (played by Pooja Kiran), plan a kidnapping, which fails. At the same time, they get a deal on behalf of rowdy Shankar (played by Totapalli Madhu), who wants to enter politics.

He tells them to go to Mumbai and bring a cat toy, and in return, he offers to pay them Rs 1 crore. The Narayan family immediately accepted the deal. Will the family be able to finish the duty? What are the difficulties they face while bringing the toy back? What exactly is in that cat toy? Who is blackmailing Subash? How did SI Arjun (played by Ali Reza) catch them? forms the remaining story.

Analysis:

The story of ‘Narayana and Co.’ is about the little things that a family does together to get out of unexpected financial problems. That’s why the film has been given the tagline ‘The Thikkala Family’. The story goes accordingly.

But some scenes here and there seem cliched. The story begins with the introduction of the Narayana family characters. After that, the lead actors meet in a pub and get married in a rush because they get pregnant. But the reason for the heroine falling in love with the hero does not seem convincing. But the comedy scenes are entertaining. And the second half is a bit routine.

Performances: Sudhakar did justice to the role of Anand. He also danced in this movie. Jaikrishna impresses with his performance as the hero’s younger brother, Subhash. What’s new in this movie is that Devi Prasad and Amani are playing completely comedic roles. Some comedy scenes by Devi Prasad as Narayana and Aami as Janaki are entertaining. Both of them got more screen space in the movie. Ali Reza as SI Arjun and Aarthi as Preeti have acted well. But the length of their roles is very short. Saptagiri comedy has not worked out.

Pooja Kiran, Totapalli Madhu, and the rest of the actors were in their element.

As for the technical aspect, Suresh Bobbili, Dr. Josyabhatla, Nagavanshi, and Josyabhatla Sharma’s music is fine. Songs and music are a plus for the movie. BGM is okay. The cinematography by Rahul Srivastav is good. The editor needs to give his scissors more work. Especially some scenes in the second half should be cut more crisply. The producer’s values are in line with the level of the film.

Conclusion: As a whole, ‘Narayana and Co.’ succeeded in making the audience laugh.
