A delegation comprising 16 members from the National Defence College, Delhi, led by
Air Vice Marshal Manish Kumar Gupta met with District Collector Dr. A Mallikarjuna, on Tuesday to oversee the implementation of various developmental and welfare initiatives within the district over three days.
Dr. A Mallikarjuna extended a warm welcome to the visiting team, commending their efforts to familiarize themselves with the district’s ongoing projects. During the meeting, Collector Dr Mallikarjuna commended their commitment to understanding the district’s progress and provided them with a comprehensive overview of ongoing projects and initiatives. This included schemes related to healthcare, education, agriculture, youth vocational training, and public welfare programs.
Joint Collector K. Mayur Ashok and other key officials facilitated interactions between the NDC delegation and the district administration. This open forum encouraged a productive exchange of ideas and insights, fostering a valuable learning experience for all parties involved.
The delegation comprises officers representing the Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as
military personnel from various nations. Their primary objective involves studying the
execution of developmental and welfare programs spearheaded by the Andhra Pradesh
government.
The three-day visit will likely involve field visits to observe these programs in action, allowing the delegation to gain a deeper understanding of their impact on the lives of citizens in Visakhapatnam. This exchange is expected to contribute to further advancements in development and welfare initiatives across the country.
