Ms. S. Pallavi, a first year B.A. student of Satya Degree and PG College, Vizianagaram has won gold and silver medals in the Interstate category in the National Weightlifting Junior and Senior Championships. 90kgs in snatch and 112kgs in jerk 202kgs in total 64kgs in senior girls division achieved these medals. The competitions were held from 28-12-2022 to 7-1-2023 at Nagarcoil, Maharashtra. On this occasion, in the felicitation meeting arranged in the college, college Director Dr. Majji Shashi Bhushan Rao, Smt. M. Anuradha, College Principal Dr. M. V. Sai Deva Mani, College Physical Director Sri. Maheswara Rao, coach Sri. Challa Ramu, Faculty and students participated. On this occasion, Director Dr. SashiBhushana Rao wished that Pallavi should bring a good name to the country at the international level by winning medals and extended best wishes. The college management assured financial help to Pallavi and her coach for international Games participation.
