The National Lok Adalat is scheduled on May 13 throughout the State of Andhra Pradesh under the directions of the Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra, Chief Justice and Patron-in-Chief, A.P. State Legal Services Authority, Justice Akula Venkata Sesha Sai, Executive Chairman, AP State Legal Services Authority and Justice U Durga Prasad Rao Chairman, AP High Court Legal Services Committee for settlement of pending cases.
M Babitha, member secretary (District & Sessions Judge) stated that National Lok Adalat will be held on May 13 for settlement of pending cases, Criminal Compoundable Cases, Cheque Bounce Cases, Family disputes, Property disputes Bank Recovery cases, Money suits, Pronote cases etc., and Pre-Litigation cases.
She said that the decision of Lok Adalat Award is final and no Appeal lies. Court fee paid to the pending civil cases in the courts is refundable, if such cases are settled before Lok Adalat. No fee need be paid for settlement of cases in Lok Adalat.
Public and all stakeholders are requested to come forward and settle their cases amicably in the National Lok Adalat which is scheduled on May 13. For any assistance or details the public may approach the Legal Services Institution situated in the court compound.
