NCC cadets exhorted to be positive, disciplined

istrict Collector said that discipline is important to the students from the student stage itself and NCC provides discipline to the cadets.
The annual training programme of NCC was held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Pedavegi on Tuesday. District Collector Prasanna Venkatesh participated in the programme as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that discipline is very important in life and if discipline is practiced from the student stage then one can reach higher heights in life. “It is stated that if we move forward with mental goodwill, no one can stop us from reaching higher heights,” he added.
The Collector exhorted the NCC cadets to practice discipline, positive attitude and think to get out of the problem without getting confused when faced with a problem, adding that he will never forget the inspiration given by Havaldar Sathyaraj during his training.
He also advocated enhancing Artificial Intelligence skills as it would be very useful for them in the future. He said that if there is an opportunity to participate in the Republic Day Parade as NCC students, they should not give it up.
The Collector said that the NCC training program provides a bright future for the students and getting the C certificate it is very useful for job opportunities. He asked the students to avail all the opportunities they find. NCC Commanding Officer Colonel S Mukharji also spoke. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya principal YSS Chandrasekhar and others were among those who took part in the programme.
