MLC Nagarkunta Naveen Kumar Reddy on Thursday emphasised the importance of Cleanliness and Greenery programmes launched by the State government. He said that the scheme was aimed at maintaining ecological balance.
While attending Vana Mahotsavam programme as chief guest in Mekaguda village under Nandigama Mandal. The event was organised under the auspices of United Way of Hyderabad and Microsoft Corporations.
The programme was held with great enthusiasm with a focus on tree plantation and environmental conservation.
Along with Naveen Kumar Reddy, the event saw the participation of prominent local figures, including BRS Party Nandigama Mandal President Padma Reddy, former MPTC Raju Naik, and representatives from the Tree Plantation Unit Organization.
Representatives from Microsoft, including Chandana Committee Officer Chandrakant, Senior Manager Madhuvathi, Manager Ramulu, and Manager Saikiran, were also present. Former Sarpanch Parvathamma Mallesh Yadav, Women Association Leader Manjula, Swapna Shirishanarasimha, PACS Mekaguda Director Yadaiah, and Rythu Coordinator member Mekam Raju, Mohan Naik joined villagers in the celebration.
