Need to redress public grievances swiftly stressed

District Collector Abhilash Abhinav has directed officials to take steps to swiftly redress grievances of people.
During the Prajavani programme held on Monday at the Collectorate meeting hall, She received applications from people across various regions of the district.
People submitted petitions regarding issues such as education, healthcare, agriculture, pensions, land problems, and housing. Following the Prajavani programme, the Collector instructed officials to resolve the applications within a specified deadline. The Collector suggested that all pending applications should be examined and resolved without any delay.
The Collector emphasised the need to provide applicants with information regarding the redressal of their grievances.
Subsequently, the Collector directed officials to raise awareness among the public about the Prime Minister’s Jana Suraksha Yojana. She stressed the importance of explaining the benefits of the scheme to people.
The Prajavani programme was attended by Additional Collector Kishore Kumar, DRO Bhu Bhujanga Rao, various department officials, staff, and others.
