In an exclusive interview with The Pioneer, Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat discusses his brief appearance on the Bigg Boss show and his future sporting plans.

Neeraj Goyat, known for his prowess in the boxing ring, recently made a memorable appearance on the popular reality show Bigg Boss. Despite a short stay, his presence left a lasting impression on viewers and housemates alike. Reflecting on his journey, Neeraj shared insights into his experience inside the Bigg Boss house.
“It was quite an eye-opening experience,” Neeraj reminisced, “living in a house where we were cut off from the outside world—no phones, no communication—just us and our interactions. For someone accustomed to the rigors of competitive boxing, adapting to the unique dynamics of the Bigg Boss environment posed its own challenges.”
When asked about memorable moments, Neeraj fondly recalled his bond with fellow contestant Deepak. “Taking care of Deepak Bhai stands out. I’ve never gone out of my way for someone like that before. It’s something I’ll cherish forever.”
Neeraj acknowledged the brevity of his stay in the house, expressing disappointment over not being able to showcase his full potential. “It was a brief stint and unfortunately, I couldn’t even complete a round in the Bigg Boss house.” Despite this, Neeraj remained philosophical about the experience, highlighting the unpredictability of human connections within the house.
Reflecting on his eviction, Neeraj expressed a mix of frustration and resilience. “Whatever happened was unfair. I went in with an open mind, but it’s hard to truly understand people in such a short time.” His departure, though abrupt, garnered an outpouring of support from fans across social media platforms, affirming his belief that he had indeed won hearts during his brief tenure.
Looking ahead, Neeraj’s focus shifts back to his passion for boxing. “I have a big fight scheduled for November 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. It’s a significant event for me, and I’m fully dedicated to preparing for it.”
As he gears up for his upcoming bout, he remains grateful for the opportunity to connect with his fans through Bigg Boss. “I’m thankful for the love and support. I hope to continue sharing my journey and making my fans proud.”
