It is not just the public who have been eagerly waiting for Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s ‘political bombs’ aimed at BRS leaders but also Congress leaders like TPCC President B. Mahesh Kumar Goud.
However, before Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s ‘political bombs’ are hurled at BRS leaders, the BJP threw a teaser bomb at none other than Chief Minister Revanth Reddy saying that the Congress is going to remove Revanth from the Chief Minister’s post.
BJLP leader Alleti Maheshwar Reddy said that Telangana would get a new Chief Minister between June 2025 and December 2025. The Congress high command has been engaged in a vigorous exercise regarding this and at the same time the Chief Minister hopefuls had joined the race for the same.
Maheshwar said that Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy are in the race for the Chief Minister’s post. There are chances of any one of these three becoming the CM, Maheshwar said.

During a chit-chat with journalists on Friday, Maheshwar said that Rahul Gandhi has stopped giving appointments to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. In fact, Rahul has refused to give appointments to Revanth seven times already. Priyanka Gandhi also did not give appointment to Revanth while in Kerala, he pointed out.
“Revanth Reddy’s holiday is over. The countdown has started for him. The Congress has launched a hunt for a new Chief Minister. The Congress high command felt that Revanth has been using the project Musi for his personal needs. Original Congress Ministers filed a complaint with the high command regarding this. The original Congress leaders have no interest the Musi Project,” Maheshwar said.
“Senior Ministers are not accepting the decisions of Revanth and complained that Revanth has been engaging in huge fund collection. The Ministers are now divided into two camps. The anti-Revanth faction is in New Delhi. The Minister who oppose Revanth have succeeded in convincing the high command,” Maheshwar added.
He said that anti-Revanth Ministers submitted a report with evidence to the high command. They sent reports and are continuing to send reports to settle Revanth’s HYDRAA, Musi and land settlements with the high command. These Ministers and some MLAs think that the Chief Minister is collecting huge funds and the high command also thinks the same, he added.
Maheshwar said the high command took the complaints of Ministers seriously. The Congress bosses are thinking why Revanth handled the Musi issue in a manner that will damage the party.
“The High Command is enquiring why the CM threw the party’s six guarantees to the wind and why he took up the Musi project. The Congress bosses think that a huge scam will take place through the Musi Project as Revanth had hiked its outlay from Rs 50,000 crore to Rs 1.5 lakh crore,” Maheshwar said.
He said the high command inquired about the reasons behind Revanth’s self-agenda and concluded that his agenda will harm the party.

He said that former Union Minister Pallam Raju had filed a complaint with Sonia Gandhi regarding the Musi Project. Then Sonia directed Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Siva Kumar to talk to Revanth Reddy. However, Revanth did not accept DK’s call. The CM himself revealed this during a chit-chat with journalists on Tuesday at the Secretariat, he said.

The party fears that Revanth is fixing the Congress for his personal gains. The CM spoke about senior Congress leader KVP Ramachandra Rao’s house issue like a child, however, the high command took the issue seriously.

Maheshwar said that Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka gave a PowerPoint presentation on why the government did not take action against high rise buildings. This indicates that Bhatti is indirectly saying that he is in the race to become the CM.

He said that the Ministers, who were in the CM race, are telling everything to their Delhi bosses. Observing these developments, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy said that Uttam will become the next CM.

Learning about these developments, the CM went on alert and made the above controversial moves and is also not expanding his cabinet thinking that he is likely to lose his post. He that a fight has begun between Revanth’s group and their opponents for Minister posts.

Maheshwar said that Ministers and MLAs were playacting while saying ‘okay’ to the Musi project and HYDRAA. However, Bhatti’s press conference was like a counter to the CM and was in favour of the Ministers.

He said that Minister Venkat did not attend the Nalgonda farmers’ meeting held at Shubham Convention Hall on the Musi Project.

The BJLP leader also said the Congress high command is angry at the CM as the Congress had become a laughing stock about inducting BRS MLAs into the party. Already five BRS MLAs, who joined the Congress are in touch with BRS chief KCR.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy convinced the high command that he will end the BRS, however, inductions issue become a headache for the party.

The situation now is that the high command is also waiting for the vote-for-note case, he said. The Congress high command is also angry at Revanth regarding this trip.

Maheshwar said that Revanth tried to scrap Damodara Raja Narsimha’s Minister post, and to keep Raja Narasimha with him (CM).
