NTR District Deputy Transport Commissioner (DTC) A Mohan assumed his position at the DTC office near MG Road in Vijayawada on Friday. Officials and staff members of the DTC welcomed the newly appointed DTC.
Addressing the gathering, Mohan expressed his commitment to reducing road accidents in the district by devising an action plan. He emphasised his goal of achieving zero registered cases of accident-related deaths. He also stated that, with the cooperation of officials and other related departments, he aims to decrease the number of road accidents in the district.
DTC Mohan urged all district officials to collaborate in addressing new vehicle registration issues promptly and efficiently. He encouraged officials and staff to deliver the services expected by the public.
Meanwhile, M Raja Babu, zonal president of the AP Transport Department Employees Association, along with others, met the DTC.
