The Phule Ambedkar Rajyadhikara Samiti (PARS) has called upon the Backward Class communities to work arduously to get Chief Minister posts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States, and announced the starting of the new political party in two months.
Speaking at a day-long conference of 100 BC castes hereon Sunday, PARS leader Tatti Arjun Rao announced that the new party would contest all 175 MLA seats in the coming elections in AP.
Arjun Rao said that BCs became CMs of Delhi, UP, Tamil Nadu, and other States but they never got a chance for the top post in Telugu States and this indicates the injustice being done to BCs. He said that only Bahujan leaders can give comprehensive leadership. He deplored that even after 75 years of independence, the fruits have not reached the masses till today.
He stated that although reservations are being implemented for SCs and STs since 1950, radical changes did not take place in their lives. BCs remained just voting classes.
Another PARS leader Dr. Katikala Sivabhagya Rao deplored the existing Bahujan leaders supporting the upper castes. He said, “It is our responsibility to tell everyone how they will benefit by voting for our Bahujan leaders.”
PARS AP State coordinator Nammi Appa Rao Yadav and other leaders spoke.
