Must read

Minister for Health, Medical and Family Welfare Damodar Raja Narasimha said that the new Covid-19 variant JN1 is not dangerous. This is a part of the previous Covid. If anyone has symptoms of Covid, like normal fever, running nose, sore throat, fatigue and severe difficulty in breathing, should go to the hospital and get tested. The government is vigilant about controlling Covid. On Tuesday, the Minister held a review meeting on ‘Control of Covid’ at Dr BR Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat.
Raja Narasimha said, “In the two deaths that took place at Osmania Hospital on Tuesday, the deaths occurred due to chronic diseases such as heart and lung disease. One of the two young children who tested positive died of genetic heart disease. No death of Covid has been reported so far. All others are recovering quickly. They will be discharged soon.”
Masks must be worn in public to avoid Covid. People should follow social distance. If there is doubt, RAT (rapid antigen test), or RT-PCR (Real-time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction) tests must be conducted.
“Don’t believe in rumours about Corona and don’t spread rumours. The new variant has a lower mortality rate. Special wards have been set up in government hospitals for genome tests. Oxygen plants are operating at full capacity. Kits required for Covid tests are available,” he said.
