The Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) conducted a special campaign in Vijayawada city on Saturday on Special Summary Revision -2023 on voter registrations and asked 18 years old persons to enroll as voters. Electoral Registration Officer and VMC Commissioner Swapnil Dinkar Pundkar visited Central Assembly Constituency’s Polling Booths 151 to 161 (11 polling stations) at Ramamohan Rao Municipal High School, Ward No.24 and Suryaraopet.
Swapnil Dinkar instructed the booth level officers to display every polling station number correctly at the polling booth, and BLOs must know the ratio of the voters in their respective polling stations and the location map must be with them. He said that 18 years old persons should be registered as new voters and suggested a banner should be placed at the polling location related to new voters registration. Swapnil Dinkar said that the BLOs have good knowledge about Form 6, 7 and 8 and also said that the voter/s signature must be taken on Form-6B.
