KB Prasanth Reddy, a member of the Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee (ZRUCC) from South Central Railway, recently inaugurated the new office of the internationally recognized NGO, People for Urban and Rural Education Organisation, commonly known as Pure. This event was celebrated in Ramavarappadu, where Prasanth Reddy was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Prasanth Reddy commended the increasing efforts of non-governmental organizations in India to support underprivileged communities. He specifically praised Pure for its significant contributions to strengthening the education sector in the Telugu States and across India. He acknowledged the visionary leadership of Shyla Talluri, the founder & CEO of Pure, on the occasion of the inception of its new building in Vijayawada city.
Hema Kantamaneni, the Chief Programme Organiser of Pure, who travelled from the US to participate in the inaugural event, highlighted the NGO’s journey over the past seven years. She emphasized Pure’s commitment to serving underprivileged students by enhancing government schools in both urban and rural areas.
The event also saw the presence of notable figures such as BVS Kumar, State secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, who shared his journey with Pure from its inception. Murali Krishna Pinnamaneni, secretary of Makineni Basava Punnamma Memorial Trust, Madhavi Appanavidu, former CWE chairman of West Godavari district, along with representatives from various NGOs, attended the celebration monitored by the Accounting and Procurement Manager of Pure, Santhi Sri, and other members.
