A complaint was registered against the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). The complaint was filed by a doctor against the TDP chief at the Kandukuru rally that was organised on December 28 last year.

The doctor from Vijayawada Prof Dr. Ambati Naga Radhakrishna Yadav registered a complaint with the (NHRC) with case no 38/1/10/2023. He moved the NHRC on December 29, immediately after the Kandukur incident where eight innocent people lost their lives leaving several injured in a political meeting due to stamping.

The doctor alleged,, In a meeting organised by the Telugu Desam party, a huge number of people were made to gather in a narrow lane. Several media reports claim that that narrow passage was chosen to show a Jam-packed crowd for drone visuals for publicity.”

He also recalled that a similar kind of incident took place where nearly 29 people lost their lives during ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ where the same TDP chief Chandrababu violated the rules while shooting a film. He requested NHRC to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter and take stern action against the organisers and do justice to the families of the deceased.
