Nithiin and Sreeleela are the lead pair in their upcoming film Robinhood directed by Venky Kudumula. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers of this film and they announced that they wanted to release the film on December 25 to cash in on the Christmas holidays. But now, according to a source, they are now planning to postpone the film for a later date. They don’t want to release it on Sankranthi, because there are many other films releasing on that day. So, they may opt for a February release or go for a summer.
“If Nithiin insists on releasing the film, they don’t have any other choice to release on December 25 as announced, otherwise the film may be postponed to either in February or March,” said a source. The film promotions also started recently and they released a song from the film too. Interestingly, the second song from the film was supposed to be released a couple of days back, but it didn’t happen. “With this many thought that they are planning to postpone the release,” added the source. The film was initially announced to release on December 20, but later postponed to December 25. Now, it seems once again it may be postponed to another date.
This is the second time that Nithiin and Venky Kudumula joined hands after their earlier film Bheeshma was successful.
