Nithiin’s Robinhood release postponed, here’s why!

Must read

The film Robinhood, starring Nithiin and Sreeleela as the lead pair, was initially scheduled to release on December 25. However, the film’s director, Venky Kudumula, has officially postponed the release and the makers will announce a new release date soon.
Interestingly, Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind Pushpa 2, is also producing Robinhood. Pushpa 2 was released on December 5 and created records in the Hindi belt, but it did not perform well in Telugu states, allegedly due to Allu Arjun’s differences with the Mega Family. According to a source, the makers deliberately postponed the release of Robinhood to avoid reducing the collections of Pushpa 2 in Telugu states. Initially, the makers had held a media conference a few days back and confirmed that the film would release on December 25, as it was already completed. However, the makers did not expect Pushpa 2 to perform poorly in Telugu states and they were reportedly shocked by the response. Under pressure from distributors, the makers have now postponed the release of Nithiin’s film to a later date.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, #Robinhood will not be releasing on December 25. A new release date will be announced soon,” said the production house on their social media page.
