Nithya Menen’s ‘soup girl’ avatar from Dear Exes unveiled

On the eve of her 36th birthday, the makers of Nithya Menen’s upcoming Tamil fantasy drama Dear Exes released a first-look poster featuring the actress as a “soup girl.” Kamini, who previously worked as filmmaker Vishnu Vardhan’s assistant, will be directing her first feature. Sharing the film’s poster on X, filmmaker Venkat Prabhu wrote, “Very happy to launch the Bask Time Theatres and POPter Media Production No. 1 first look #DearEXes.” The poster has Nithya Menen dressed traditionally, with her phone showing an incoming call from her “ex” and a drink in one hand. “Let the magic begin” is the poster’s tagline. Dear Exes, which promises to be a fantasy-romantic drama hybrid, stars Prateik Babbar, Vinay Rai, Navdeep, and Deepak Parambol in important parts. Shanmugaraja will be in charge of art direction, and Preetha Jayaraman will supervise cinematography. In addition to Dear Exes, she is scheduled to star with Jayam Ravi in Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi’s romantic comedy Kadhalikka Neramillai.
