Housing Minister Jogi Ramesh lashed out at the Opposition for the tense atmosphere that has prevailed for the past few days in Ippatam village. Jogi Ramesh said that the government did not demolish a single house and no one needed to show any sympathy. Addressing media persons in Tadepalli, the minister criticized TDP leader Nara Lokesh for visiting the village despite the people being against his visit.

Minister Ramesh said that the once adopted son (Pawan Kalyan) and the biological son Lokesh are visiting the village, which is a drama. He criticized Pawan Kalyan for rowdyism. For Pawan, acting in movies is good but it is not appropriate to do it on the roads, Hitavu said.

He criticized the manner in which Pawan came to the village by sitting on the top of the car so recklessly and sending wrong messages to the youth. The minister termed Chandrababu Naidu ‘a politically degraded politician’.Pawan Kalyan, who contested from two seats in the 2019 elections, lost both. He asked Lokesh why he took so long to respond to the current situation in Ippatam, which is his own constituency. He flayed Chandrababu for trying to use Pawan Kalyan for political benefits.

Jogi Ramesh said Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Ramoji Rao were misleading the people time and again through their false propaganda that irregularities were happening in the Jagananna housing scheme. He advised them to think twice before speaking. He said it is ironic that amounts are transferred directly into the beneficiaries’ accounts. The TDP leaders are hell bent on stopping the construction of Jagananna houses with baseless allegations.

Jogi Ramesh said if Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan and Ramoji Rao want to know how transparent the government is, they should come and see the contracts.
