The BJP’s Malkajgiri MP, Eatala Rajender, made it clear that he has no need to protect former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. Congress Ministers are wilfully issuing statements to mislead the public, Eatala said.
He said that he didn’t go to the Kaleshwaram Commission to make a political statement. There is no Kaleshwaram Project without the Cabinet Subcommittee. The Cabinet Subcommittee recommended the redesigning of several irrigation projects in the Kaleshwaram Project, he said, making it clear that he will reveal all GOs and Subcommittee decisions soon.
Addressing the media on Sunday, Eatala said that nothing is done by the government without discussing the matter in the Cabinet and taking a decision based on that.
“How can Tummala Nageshwara Rao say that the Cabinet did not discuss the Kaleshwaram Project? KCR did not implement any decision on his own. KCR took signatures from everyone. The then Ministers, Tummala Nageshwara Rao, Jupally Krishna Rao and Kadiam Srihari knew that. Congress leaders should take action after getting the PC Ghose report if they have the guts. Otherwise, the Congress Government should hand over the case to the CBI,” Eatala said.
