Rajya Sabha stalwart and YSRCP national general secretary, V Vijayasai Reddy, has declared that the trajectory of development in Visakhapatnam, under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, remains unassailable.
Addressing the relentless barrage of challenges hurled by opposition factions, the MP affirmed that the juggernaut of progress remains unimpeded, ensuring Visakhapatnam’s steadfast ascent.
Taking to the digital realm on Sunday, the Member of Parliament avowed that an array of transformative ventures will stand as testaments to Visakhapatnam’s meteoric rise. Among the heralded initiatives are the Adani Data Centre, Bhogapuram International Airport, Oberoi Hotel, Infosys, the Beach Corridor, and the trailblazing Paderu-Narsipatnam Medical College, all poised to etch Visakhapatnam’s name in the annals of modern development.
Vijayasai Reddy underscored the economic boon befalling dairy farmers who have embraced the ‘Jagananna’s Pala Velluva’ initiative. The MP lauded a remarkable surge in supplemental income, noting that milk procurement prices had surged eightfold during the tenure of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. The pinnacle of this transformation is reflected in the unprecedented Rs 103 per litre valuation of buffalo milk, alongside the commendable Rs 53.86 per liter valuation of cow milk.
Vijayasai Reddy further extolled the trailblazing strides undertaken in the realm of education, catalysed by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visionary reforms. Highlighting the surge in gross enrollment ratio from 84.4 to an impeccable 100 over the past quadrennial, the MP earmarked an investment of Rs 66.722 crores across ten pivotal schemes propelling the education sector’s evolution.
Expressing a rallying call to parents who bear witness to the transformative educational landscape, the MP implored their endorsement for YSRCP’s resurgence under the leadership of Jagan Mohan Reddy in the forthcoming 2024 elections.
In a scathing attack against BJP AP president Purandeswari, the MP dismissed her credibility in matters of orthodox Hinduism, attributing her actions to a bid for attention from her familial connections.
Further bolstering his discourse, the MP applauded the demonstrable efficacy of law enforcement, as evidenced by a resounding 20% decline in the state’s crime rate. Extending felicitations to the valiant policemen who earned accolades from the Central Ministry for their exemplary crime investigations, Vijayasai Reddy celebrated the state’s commitment to safety and security.
Exuding satisfaction, the MP commended the triumphant culmination of the YSRCP’s endeavour to introduce a private member’s bill that firmly integrates ‘snatching’ as an independent offence within the Indian Penal Code. With this inclusion now enshrined as Section 302 in the nascent legislative bill, Vijayasai Reddy assured enhanced security for women and resolute measures against those who perpetrate chain and purse snatching crimes.
